Students get a snack
Thanks to donors who care, RBA students receive a snack
and one meal a day. Many students come to school without
eating any breakfast.



Filipina women are some of the best cooks in the world. Two mothers of students in the photo on the left are volunteers who come on school days to cook meals for all the children.
They cook over an open fire fueled by pieces of wood. This saves the cost of buying propane and many families use this method at home for the same reason.
Can you imagine trying to study and concentrate when you are hungry? A donation of just $25 will feed more than 200 students for one week, Principal Joselito Maslog said.
Parents play a key role in supporting RBA School students and have helped in building the new classrooms and cement floors.
Before water was installed, students had to visit a nearby stream to get water. With temperatures soaring well over 100 degrees on many school days, getting drinking water installed was a priority. This was accomplished in 2008, at a very low cost in donations, roughly $250!
Currently, this Web site is the only source for donations for the RBA Sabulao School and your support is still needed to provide school meals and other supplies.
